Winemaker’s Note
The wine is a tribute to the farmers who have held on to Zinfandel vineyards for decades and, in some cases, for over a century. The wine is made from various old vineyards in the Sierra Foothills region, carefully selected to create an elegant red wine similar to the ones produced in the early days before Zinfandel became a jammy fruit bomb. It is a well-balanced, layered, and seamless wine that oers tons of fresh blackberry and raspberry avors with a bracing texture of ne-grained tannins and bright acidity.
